Scale model collectors, out in the wild.

BMCA brings together collectors of miniature cars, bikes, planes, trains and dioramas for monthly meet-ups and Bengaluru's largest annual model trade meet.

About us

A hobby that turned into a community.

Beantown Model Collectors' Association (BMCA) was founded in 2017 by Aditya Menon, who remains the Association's President. We're a group of like-minded hobbyists sharing a common passion for collecting miniature scale models — cars, motorcycles, aeroplanes, trains, ships, historical buildings, figurines and dioramas.

Most members have collected scale models since childhood; some rekindled the passion as adults. We treat it as a serious hobby, valuing our collections as much as investments as objects of desire.

In 2021, BMCA was registered as an Association under the Karnataka Societies Act. Membership is exclusive, paid, and subject to the Managing Committee's approval — the minimum joining age is 18. Want in? Leave us a note in Contact Us below.

We regularly visit schools to encourage kids to pick up a hobby, and one long-term goal is to open a scale model museum here in Bengaluru.
